Teachers' classroom management competencies are thought to have an impact on students' attitudes towards school. It is stated that adequate teacher approaches both in terms of expertise and pedagogical field are positively developed for students' academic and behavioral outcomes. Today, the concept of alienation to school, which is thought to be related to teachers' classroom competence, draws attention. In this study, the relationship between teachers' classroom management competences and students' perception of alienation to school was investigated. In the study the relational survey model was used, the data were collected in quantitative ways and analyzed statistically. The study was conducted in 2018-2019 academic year. 841 secondary school students who is studying in Altındağ in Ankara participated in the study. The research data were obtained by “Classroom Management Scale” and “School Alienation Scale”. The results indicated that there were negative, moderate or low and significant relationships between the variables. In addition, it was found that all of the teachers' classroom management dimensions (human management, course management and behavior management) significantly predicted students' weakness, meaninglessness and social distance dimensions. In addition, it was determined that only the course management dimension predicted the irregularity dimension significantly.
