Abstract


Turkish Higher Education Profile in the Context of COVID-19 Studies

COVID-19 Pandemic, which marked the first quarter of 2020, has profoundly influenced numerous concepts and operations, especially in higher education. Education policies, change and sustainability concepts are listed as factors affecting higher education strategies. In the context of higher education, a portfolio of the COVID-19 pandemic in the context of academic studies will shedlight on the future strategies and policies of the institution. With the help of the R program, the Web of Science collection, which includes the most comprehensive and most influential magazines in the world, will be scanned and the global academic competition status of academicians will be discussed with in the framework of Turkish higher education. For this reason, this research will provide information in the process of creating a strategic vision that will make a picture of the current situation and make the future more specific by examining the studies done by Turkish academics in the international arena. As a result of the bibliometric analysis, it underlines that we are included in the WOS literature in the field of medicine, but that we have not yet had publications in the field of social sciences.
