The meaning created by art has taken its place in the principles of cultural expression. It is not a coincidence that the individual thinking system is structured and the differentiation of the artist in the way he perceives the world, in the process of rendering the art, the answer is sought in the artist. The reason for the emergence of an art work is the beginning of the subjective questioning of life. The answer to basic questions about the nature of art has been a common tendency of Modernism. The ard-impressionist artist Vincent van Gogh tries to find his inner truth in his own intuitive world, makes sense of life in colors. Van Gogh's expressionist works are a significant breakthrough on the road to Modernism. Van Gogh's contribution to color has created a different meaning. The concept of color no longer serves only for the definition of the objective world. Color also gains an identity as an important expression element in reflecting internal life. In this study, the color interaction and the importance of spiritual connections through Van Gogh's works, to find meaning as a means of expression, will be studied.
